The EVERY Company and Huvepharma announced a significant manufacturing expansion, quadrupling production capacity for EVERY's flagship precision-fermented egg protein, OvoPro™. This move addresses a surge in demand, with EVERY's annual orders growing over 550% in the first four months of 2026.
Huvepharma, through its subsidiary Biovet AD, will leverage its Bulgarian facility, which boasts over 9,000,000 liters of fermentation capacity. This infrastructure is among Europe's largest and most flexible, enabling large-scale, food-grade quality production of OvoPro™, a pure ovalbumin protein.
This capacity expansion responds to robust B2B and retail adoption, including placements in Target and Walmart, alongside growing e-commerce and foodservice demand. OvoPro™ offers operational and supply chain advantages due to its 24-month shelf-stability and no cold-chain requirement, providing cost benefits for the food industry.
The ongoing collaboration has already achieved steady industrial-scale production, delivering metric tons to customers. This new phase aims to further optimize batch costs and prepare for future growth as EVERY continues to integrate additional proteins from its fermentation platform into the market.
