Deal Flow Scout — Professional Unicorn Hunter
Commission-based remote role sourcing the next AgTech and deep-tech unicorns before competitors notice. You will work the global conference circuit, the European university spin-out programmes and the operator networks that no startup database covers.
What you’ll do
- Source 200+ deep-tech founders per year across AgTech, CleanTech, water intelligence, robotics, biotech and biomaterials.
- Run first-call qualification: technical defensibility, market timing, founder-market fit, IP position.
- Build and maintain a sector-segmented founder CRM with notes the rest of the team can act on.
- Represent AixPoint at Agritechnica, EuroTier, World Agri-Tech, Hannover Messe, ICRA and selected vertical conferences.
What you bring
- An existing global network of operators, professors, accelerators and angels in at least one deep-tech vertical.
- An obsession with technical defensibility — you can spot a real moat from a marketing slide.
- Comfort with cold outreach, warm intros and the patience to nurture pre-seed founders for 12–18 months.
- Bonus: prior VC associate or accelerator programme manager experience.
