The Quant — Chief Number Whisperer (Financial Analyst)

Remote, part-time financial analyst role at AixPoint. You will review startup financials, build valuation and unit-economics models for AgTech and deep-tech ventures, and spot the flawed assumptions before VCs do. This is a senior role with high autonomy and direct exposure to founders and institutional investors.

What you’ll do

• Build bottom-up valuation models (DCF, Berkus, scorecard, comparables) for 30–50 deep-tech startups per year.
• Stress-test cap tables, dilution scenarios and ESOP economics across Series Seed to Series B rounds.
• Translate hardware unit economics (BOM, gross margin, payback period) into investor-ready memos.
• Build sector benchmark dashboards for AgTech, precision agriculture, robotics and water tech.

What you bring

• 5+ years in venture capital, transaction advisory, M&A or growth-equity finance.
• Excel and Google Sheets at expert level — you can build a 3-statement model from scratch in an afternoon.
• A point of view on what makes deep-tech businesses scalable (or not).
• Bonus: AgTech, hardware-startup or industrial CVC background.
